Business IT questions
Clear answers before you book.
If the exact service is not listed, send the request anyway. We will confirm whether Astra IT is the right fit before beginning paid work.
Do you support small businesses without an IT department?+
Yes. Astra IT is designed for Sunshine Coast businesses that need a capable technology contact without employing a full-time IT person. Support can be arranged for a single problem, a project or recurring needs.
What does the business IT call-out fee cover?+
The $55 local call-out covers travel to a suitable business location within the core Sunshine Coast service area. On-site labour is then charged at $110 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Any travel outside the area is confirmed before booking.
Can you help remotely?+
Yes. Suitable software, Microsoft 365, email, account and computer problems can often be handled remotely at $110 per hour. Remote work has a 30-minute minimum and is then billed in 15-minute blocks.
Do you offer ongoing managed IT support?+
Astra IT can build a sensible recurring support arrangement after learning how many people, devices and locations need help. The monthly scope is quoted separately so you only pay for support the business genuinely needs.
Can you supply computers or Microsoft 365 licences?+
We can help choose and configure suitable equipment and services. Hardware, licences and third-party subscriptions are quoted separately, approved before purchase and kept in the business's ownership wherever practical.
Can you guarantee an urgent response time?+
We prioritise business-critical requests, but an enquiry does not create a guaranteed service-level agreement. If work is urgent, select the business-critical option and call after submitting so availability can be confirmed immediately.
Which Sunshine Coast areas do you cover?+
On-site support is available for suitable jobs across the Sunshine Coast, including Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Buderim, Kawana, Caloundra, Nambour and surrounding areas. Remote business support is available Australia-wide.
